Color and Ears Ranch where Color meets performance
Color and Ears Ranch is located in the beautiful equestrian town of Apple Valley. Color and Ears Ranch is dedicated to raising performance paint horses that can hold their own in halter too. We feature a registered American Paint Horse Stallion Smokey Illusion and we also have four registered Paint Horse Brood Mares Daddy Cant Sing, Taladega Skip, Shy Painted Moon and Ghostprettyimpressive which produce beautiful offspring which are for sale. Shy is built for performance, have outstanding athletic ability and are very quick learners. Our horses are built for performance but also do very well in halter classes. Smokey Illusion has won over 2,000.00 in prizes both halter Western Performance and English Pleasure. Smokey has a baby Smokeys Melody who is now a two year old and has Paint Points, Pinto Points and PAC points. She is a back to back Pinto World Show top 5 winner. We raised a champion lungeline paint horse named Lily Cat Hancock who will now be showing in Colorado. Lily has a new owner Mercedes Harris. We have a new paint horse named Smokeys Melody who is out of our solid paint Daddy Cant Sing and our paint Stallion Smokey Illusion. Smokey has a 2009 Filly named Smokeys Rosette. She has a new owner Kimarie Gilson. Smokey's new baby is a overo colt.

Smokeys Melody has 24 PAC Credits in halter, 20 Color Credits and 1 Performance credit in Yearling Loungeline, 1 APHA point in Color and 24 Pinto Points in Halter and 30 Color points, 4 Amature Pinto point and 10 OCAP points.

At Melody's first show in 2008 she placed 1st in the Open Color class and She placed 1st in the Tobiano Color Class.
Smokeys Melody placed 1st and 2nd at Bakersfield Paint Horse Show in the Color class.
Smokeys Melody places 1st in Color at GSPA and 1st in Performance halter on the 6th of April. Smokey Illusion placed 1st in the Stallions, 1st in Paint/Pinto and 3rd in color.
